As an Analyst - Data Science, you will play a vital role in forecasting key measures and driving insights for AXP's Issuing Lending business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage quantitative skills to provide decision support for key initiatives.
- Develop predictive models incorporating card member behaviors for enhanced granularity.
- Support planning activities, including Risks & Opportunities (R&O), Long-Range Plan (LRP), and Annual Plan.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to improve forecasts and derive business insights.
- Adopt emerging technologies to address complex business problems.
- Provide actionable recommendations to influence strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various teams and levels within the enterprise.
- Independently propose and implement solutions to ad-hoc business challenges.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Hive, Python, PySpark, and Machine Learning Techniques.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to solve complex business problems independently.
- Desire and ability to learn continuously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of card economics.
- Experience with Python/R and visualization tools like Power BI.
- Knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling.
