About the Role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in Mysuru or Bengaluru. This role involves providing technical support to new and existing employees, maintaining hardware inventories, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure desktops and laptops for new joiners and work-from-home employees.
• Maintain hardware asset inventory.
• Address user tickets related to hardware, software, and networking.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and resolve technical issues.
• Record issues and solutions in logs; escalate unresolved problems to higher support levels.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of desktop, laptop, and printer hardware.
• Experience with MS tools like Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience in hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with current operating systems, protocols, and standards.

Personal Attributes

• Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts and weekends.

Educational Qualifications

• B.E. in Computer Science, E&C, or Information Science.
• Diploma in Computer Science, E&C, or Information Science.
• BCA graduates are also eligible.

Location Preference

Candidates from Mysuru are preferred. Those willing to relocate to Mysuru are also welcome to apply.
