About the Role
Citi invites applications for the position of Applications Development Programmer Analyst in Pune. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers with a keen interest in core Java programming and application development to kickstart their careers in a global organization.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements.
- Analyze issues, recommend solutions, and implement enhancements.
- Leverage knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issues.
- Conduct testing, debugging, script writing, and code design based on specifications.
- Assess the applicability of experiences and evaluate options in unique situations.
- Gain a working understanding of Citi’s information systems, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and standards to safeguard the firm’s reputation and assets.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in core Java programming and debugging.
- Working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Familiarity with core Java programming languages and SQL.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
