Job Description

Unstop is seeking a qualified Frontend Engineer with 1-3 years of work experience. As an #Unstoppable Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the visual and interactive elements of a website or application that users interact with directly. You will build the 'client side' of our website and translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive web visuals.

Responsibilities

• Use markup languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create user-friendly web pages
• Maintain and improve the website
• Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Incorporate feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites
• Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience with JavaScript libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less, or Stylus
• Working knowledge of SEO principles
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills

Compensation

As per industry benchmarks. This won’t be a restriction for the right candidate.
